I know coaches don't like to do this but I would guarantee Wade a starting CB spot. I would tell him its his job on Day 1 of camp and for the opener vs the 1-AA team. Assuming Hamlin starts on the other side, if Wade turns out to not be as good as Maddox, Motley, Coleman, or Jackson, then you demote him after the 1AA game.

Offer Hamlin. He's good enough for a scholarship. This would probably also seal the deal with Hamlin.

That would be a horrible idea. The one thing that kids and parents have said about Narduzzi is that he doesn't play games like that. They say they've been told that if the kids earn time they'll play. If not they won't. And it's been well received. All it would take is 1 instance to ruin that.
He can watch our secondary today and feel his chances of competing for a starting job day one are pretty good. I don't think a guarantee is necessary.
