Listen, everybody wants excellence and wants to win every game. Don't give me the positive fans 'accept mediocrity' concept. The fact is that the staff wants to win every game too, but how many elite teams are out there? Pitt is not elite right now, so if the fans don't accept who Pitt is presently, then, if we were like poker, we would quit on the program emotionally, and wouldn't have many fans and fewer at the games. True fans support the team win or lose, and even though, they have the right to complain, they still believe. It will take Narduzzi time if he can get us to that 'next level', but it will be tough, as every team has the same plans, and someone has to lose. Being negative does no good, staying positive brings hope and belief. If we, as Pitt fans, want them to get better results, then support, financially and in the stands, is necessary. Cynicism is catchy, and even though it represents a minority, it permeates into recruiting and attendance. Believe me, this staff wants to win as much or more than we do, so we need to believe in them.
