** Well everyone, I really was hoping I could come here this evening and tell you all that our Panthers fought hard. I wanted so badly to tell you that our Panthers played with intensity and passion. And even though we lost, it was not for lack of effort. It was just that Wake Forest has a more talented team that eventually wore our Panthers down. Yes I really wanted to tell you guys this.

** Unfortunately, that was really not the case. We were really never even in this game, as Wake took the lead for good a mere 12 seconds in and never looked back. Before I could even blink Pitt was down by double digits and I think we all at that point knew the game was over. The Panthers in spurts played some tough defense but for long stretches I'd question if we played any defense at all. WF continually had wide open 3 point looks from the corner and top of the key. It seemed at times our Panthers gave up and didn't even try to guard or box out.

** If there was any positives to take from this game I will say that Femi finally showed up. He played hard and scored. I wonder though where this Femi has been for most of the season. We could have used him in some of our tough losses we had.

** But overall, it's looking like our Panthers are just not up to the challenge to compete and give that 100% effort that is surely needed down the stretch. I glanced at our schedule and if they keep playing like they did against BC and Wake, we probably won't win another game.

** I know many of you are unhappy with our coach and I am concerned about the coaching as well. But right now the job status of Jeff Capel and his staff is not my worry. What is my worry is to hopefully see some fight from our guys as the season winds down. I must say though, I am not optimistic it will happen.

Good job, Poker! How many meds did you have to take to get that mellow before writing this splendid piece?

This was great. I bet you did some research for this and looked at a number of previous dribbles.

You nailed the tone as well as anyone could be capable off.

Outstanding effort.

6 out of 10. That is fair. It is the guy at work doing an impression of the boss. It’s funny because it is inside stuff but not all that accurate.

Fine Job trying to be DT!!!

I flipped over and watched Abbott Elementary with my family .
Had no regrets
Game was over 10 minutes in.

we shot well, for a change - but were totally confused on defense the whole game
WF having the 4 best players on the court certainly helped .
Femi was the 5th best

PittPoker health update : After family members found the Poker in a catatonic state late Wed night he was rushed to Western Psychiatric Hospital where. a team of top mental health workers made a very rare diagnosis, SOPPP ( Sudden Onset Positive Pitt Post ) . After reviewing his posting history the diagnosis became obvious , while this post isn’t an endorsement of the current Pitt bb program it has a far more positive tone to it than one would expect from this poster .This change in tone simply became too much for his fragile brain to handle The treatment consisted of making PittPoker watch an endless loop of the Clemson game . The good news is that after 24 hrs of treatment he came out of his catatonic state screaming “ fire Capel “ . He was released and is resting comfortably at his home and been advised not to try this style of posting again and stick to his acerbic negative posting .
