Well, when a coach who was as successful as Jamie Dixon was gets either run out, or is allowed to get so unhappy he considers a low level place like Tcu a better job, this has the potential to happen.

It would be different if Dixon left for a place like Ucla, or was involved in some sort of scandal.

Dixon actually left on his own but there are lots reasons as to why he felt the pressure to start looking around.

We beat a team 3x's yet the committee puts that team CUSE in the tourney in about the same spot as PITT/Loss of national respect

Amen. The guy blows Miller away and would make a huge statement about PItts commitment to winning. Many of the other names being thrown out are a freaking joke. Reminds me of some of the names being suggested when Pitt was in the process of hiring Narduzzi.

IF we can't get Marshall on board we should board up the Pete and shut down the program. If we can't hire the currently most sought-after coach in college basketball, we are born losers and doomed.
It is an indisputable fact that all good coaches are, like Athena, born full grown and started as proven winners. Blue blood elites, like Butler and Wichita State, are gifted with these coaches. They are not developed. We must not hire any coach who is not a proven perennial D1 winner..

Barnes drove Dixon out. He should have had someone available. If that guy's team is still playing, then ok. If this goes beyond the end of the NIT though, then there is big problems.
