I seem to recall that. He coaches NA now for a few years after being at Central cath. His 195 pounder won states today named Woodley. Going to Oklahoma I believe. Would it be beneath Pitt to look at him as a possible coach? Local ties, 2 X NCAA champion. I know he's been out of college coaching for awhile now. Thoughts?

Yes he was at Pitt. He also trained several very good Pitt wrestlers after he left Pitt. Such as Gavin.

Seems like a good candidate to me!

My concern would be his lack of experience running a successful collegiate program. His mat knowledge is unquestioned, but there's more to running a good wrestling program than knowing how to wrestle.
