pitt fans missed the chance to storm the field twice this year the result of horrible scheduling. beating GT and Syracuse with last minute heroics would have been great- forcing early departing students and fans to rethink their knee jerk reactions to leave early. missed opportunities. hope we're starting a trend.

1. Conference games alternate home and away. We blaming the previous AD for that?

2. Pitt has won something like 11 of the last 13 against Syracuse, who has been one of the worst programs during that time. I certainly hope no one would storm the field after that one.

3. Gt would make a little more sense if they wernt 2-4 going into the Pitt game.

I view it as a point of pride that our fans don't ever storm the field or court. We expect the team to win

storming the field should be saved for truly historic or unexpected outcomes. otherwise it feels scripted, predictable, and more like a riot than a celebration.

Heinz Field will NEVER NEVER be stormed.... It is an 8ft drop to field level from the seats, if one was to jump over and then fall down the mass injuries to occur from other coming down on top of them from 8ft is nothing anyone wants or cares to see

Now the players jumping up into student section (which already happens) is awesome

Same as the PETE... It was strategically built that way

It is very rare to play a game of such significance that storming the field is in any way OK. Beating mediocre teams, even on the last play, doesn't qualify.

Those aren't close to storm the field type wins.

How many times are the fields stormed at truly strong programs with great student and fan support...ND, UF, FSU, TX...even PSU??? Pretty much never. Consistently winning against good teams in a fun environment will get yinzers to show up.

Yeah, programs like ND and TX should never storm the field. Ever.

Yeah, I don't get the OP.

Storming the field beating an FSU team that has not lost an ACC game in 3 years vs beating a 3-5 and 3-4 team on last second field goals is not the same. I'd be ashamed if we stormed for that.

Also, the conference scheduling has nothing to do with the previous AD.
