Watts commits

I think Hamlin has been Pitt for a long time.

On the WR front. We have both Solomon and k'von wallace coming in for a visit. If the staff had their choice I wonder who they prefer. Solomon higher ceiling but risk is higher. Wallace has picked up some nice offers lately, including Clemson. I'm guessing Narduzzi would roll the dice with Solomon if he has his choice.

They seem to really want Wallace. They are visiting him Wednesday.

Gotta love how relentless these guys are. They are visiting Camp and Miller in Florida this week

Also appear to be getting a nice walkon on in Ingram

regarding Miller....while I understand the lure of the U to a 17 year old kid......

the chance to play DB for narduzzi is the smartest move the kid could make. I hope the light bulb goes on for this kid

There have been countless posts on this same exact thing. If this was true, the elite of elite CBs would have already verballed. Narduzzi helps a lot but other staffs have good defensive coaches as well.

Don't mean to step on your negative take. I think the lure of Narduzzi is in his history and ability of spotting underrecruited 2 and 3 star athletes and turning them into NFL ready performers. Hence, the notion that this might attract a player such as Miller, ultimately. We shall see if it does, but no one I have seen on this site has inferred that all 5 star DB's should be flocking to our campus in droves at this point. We just feel Pitt would be the best fit for Mr. Miller if he chooses us. If he does come here, I look forward to the general excitement from fans and your sudden lack of excitement for his decision.

Great pickup at the area of biggest need. This class is shaping up to be an incredible haul on the defensive side. Great additions at DT, DE, LB, and CB. This is precisely the type of class Narduzzi needs to build a dominating defense.

Congrats on the pick up. Huge get imo. Beat us fair and square, tho I don't think we even had a chance. We could have really used him, but ohh well. I think Hamlin is between Pitt and OSU, with Pitt leading. But in recruiting, who the hell knows!

The studs narduzzi is getting in his first true year of recruiting should tell you about the future of pitt. Trending up fast
Personally, I would view Pitts 8-4 record this season as the best sign.
Coaches usually have strong classes their first year. See Wannstedt, Graham (had he not left), and probably Walt Harris also. Chryst is skewing your expectations.

Now, because of his strong first season, Narduzzi has a chance to do even better next year, which would be a better predictor of the future.

If you're a defensive player, you have to like what Duzz is doing in a short period of time. Get Hamlin in here and this will have been a great start to building an ACC Championship caliber defense.

Best defensive class in a long, LONG time.

My post was not a negative post. It's called being realistic, not all defensive recruits will choose to come here, for different reasons. This board gets so defensive sometimes if you don't have a pie in the sky attitude.

In reply to your post, since you mentioned miller I'll go with him, it's interesting you mentioned him and mentioned under recruited kids. Miller has 32 offers by my count. He's not under recruited.
