flip your coin! It is maddening! I will say Pitt comes to play today! Here's the rub, and this is a secret that nobody else could figure out. If we make shots we will win, if we miss shots we will lose!
Well defense is a part of it too. I think if they give max effort the WHOLE 40 MINUTES then they can even miss shots and win comfortably. It's all about being focused and not letting up the intensity. See Duke game.
Agree with you on that! U could tell by their rebounding effort that they were off last game. They need to rebound and play D for 40 mins and that will give them a chance unless we are throwing up numerous air balls again. Last game was a freakshow of sorts after we got the 19-10 lead. Maybe they all need some prescription glasses. Looked like they had no depth perception or something. I am not sure I ever saw a team shoot like that at any level.
We had been a much better team since the Syracuse game until we laid that egg. Hopefully that was an anomally and we get back to really ballin' today.
You are probably right but it is hard for me to take such a negative stance. It is not realistic to expect this team to win either tournament. However, we have some ability, and if we can couple it with some passion, we could win possibly two games in each or maybe even pull a sneaky upset on a quality team. If they pull a no show today in this important game, I will take off my rose colored glasses and start to see things your way.
