We beat VMI by 40..UK only up 10

Most interesting thing to me was that Bubba Parham - who scored 16 for VMI vs Pitt on 6 for16 shooting from the field- went off for 35 vs UK today including 10 three pointers. May say something about the defensive capabilities of Pitt's young backcourt in closing out on long range shooters.

Or the variability of game by game results.

Kentucky is, it seems, not as good this season--especially early in the season when their one-and-done types may not have gelled yet. But, you cannot discount the game by game variability

How else could UVA lose to a 16 seed in the NCAAT? And to use this season's Pitt as an example--We couldn't make open 3s in the North Alabama game Saturday because of that sort of variability and we were maybe somewhat out of sync due to a noon start after only 7 pm starts. It happens.
