tonight? We have our destiny in our own hands correct ? They talk like this winner matters to us, but in reality not really

Technically, should Pitt beat VT, VT winning helps if there's a three way tie with Pitt, VT and UNC.

Clinton is way ahead with those with college degrees where Trump leads those without. I'm guessing a large number of posters here did go to college and I'm sure that skews the white male demographic a bit.

Pitt needs to root for a 3 way tie at 6-2 with VT and UNC so for that to happen, VT needs to win.

Plus...I would hate for Pitt to play a tech team that would have lost two games in a row if they lose tonight.

I like what I see here. Pitt can play with both teams and should best at least one of 'em.

Impressive W for VT. Should be ranked when they come to town. Nice national stage for Pitt.

For Pitt to win the ACC in the most realistic scenario:

Pitt beats VaTech, Miami, Duke, Syracuse
Lose to Clemson

VaTech beats Duke, GaTech, Virginia
Lose to Pitt

UNC beat NcState
Lose to one of Virginia, GaTech, Duke

That makes a 3 team tie at 6-2.

Tiebreaker #1.
Combined winning % against the 3 teams. All would be 1-1, so on to #2.
Tiebreaker #2.
Winning % for the 3 teams vs division. Pitt and VaTech would be 6-1 vs Coastal while UNC would be 5-2 and thus elimanted from the 3 team tie.

Division tiebreaker then becomes a 2 team tie between Pitt and VaTech and Pitt wins that due to head2head victory.
