Oregon...While no one is happy about the lapses on defense and slow start on offense, I agree there are some positives. I think we will see a different team next week when Boyd is back. Not sure but some of the play calling was very good based on the personnel in the first series. Why not go with your studs from the start. I think we will see the coaches get a better feel for the game day players and strengths after looking at the tape. We can sometimes forget they are working their collective first game as well.

Good

WIN 1-0 for players and coaches
Receivers should be elevatedthis year. Zeise showed some nice control and should be solid. Did Weah see the field?
Running is going to the year of the big backs. Good to have a change up option, but I see better players pounding the ball, at least against YSU personnel.

Bad
Not a fan of "Roll-out" Voytik. Lose a whole side of the field. Much rather have Voytik tuck and run from pocket.
Not a fan of the on-side lineup. Need to keep someone back to receive. Coaches blew that one. Reminds me of the Walt swinging gates.

Ugly
DLine breakdown late in game. Nightmares.
Prevent should sometimes be called when you are up by 2 scores late in the 4Q.
