Yup. Not sure what additional "coaching" is going to do to help KP. Perhaps an offense that simplifies things and makes his reads easier and is not as predictable will improve the overall results. But IMO what you see from KP so far is what he is. It just occured to me that the thing that KP is missing most of all is composure. He just doesnt look like a kid who is confident in the pocket. Even in his HS tapes I'd describe his play as "frenetic". Compare that to the kid from Clemson who looks incredibly composed in the pocket or even the tapes from Patti and Beville. IMO that is a very important factor in a QB..do they look comfortable in the pocket......which translates to seeing the field and finding open receivers.......Im not sure any additional coaching will change that
Agree wholeheartedly here...watch the tapes of all three and watch the Pitt game film of KP...first read not open, run or feel any pressure, eyes down and run. Both Beville and Patti film shows improvisation and multiple reads and both led their teams from behind in their senior years, winning games in the 4th quarter. They both seem to keep their composure, although Beville is yet to face a college rush (Patti practiced against Pitt's defense all year). This is what will make the spring exciting!

He did for sure. I'm fairly happy it isn't Canada given this. He either would have done well and immediately bolted, or would have fallen short and gotten a lot of scorn. Time for a new fresh start, with a dynamic guy (we hope)
