- this is being billed as the best opening week ever and that's pretty tough to argue. Great start to the college football season.

- if I am the folks in Philly, East Rutherford, or Landover, MD, I am trying to get a Week 1 Bowl game between Pitt and Penn State in the future

- the game nobody is talking about in UNC/Georgia. The winner of that game is a playoff contender I think.

- Its funny, for "owning" the Pittsburgh market, I would guess that 99% of people locally have no idea WVU is opening with a pretty good SEC opponent. The buzz around that game ends when you cross into Fayette County I guess.

- The upset I am going with is Houston over Oklahoma. If Houston goes 13-0 with a win over Oklahoma, I'm not sure how they don't crash the CFP. I'd like to see it.

Houston vs Ok and Unc vs Georgia are the saturday games im most excited about, although, ill be watching them all.

Georgia is favored but i expect UNC to win outright. Georgia has soooo many new pieces including a coaching staff, qb, and a retooled front 7

Missouri is a hot mess I don't think their a big name SEC school but it's wvu they might look good

Can confirm. People out here are expecting them to get 4/5 wins, 6 at most. They have a lot of problems, some of them go deeper than football.

I would bet 95-percent of yinzers had no idea Missouri is in the SEC now. I would also bet they had no idea Missouri was in the Big 12 before that. Yinzers know Pitt, PSU, WVU and Notre Dame. Anything else is French to them.

Ohio State is the #3 team in Western PA.
