- a very rare ESPN/ESPN2 ACC Saturday game that does not involve either FSU or Clemson. UNC/VT is only the 2nd non-FSU/Clemson game to appear on a Saturday on ESPN or ESPN2. The other game, UNC/Duke was also a nooner. Did I mention how terrible our ESPN coverage is?

- UNC better be ready to play. Beamer's last home game. They need 1 more win for a bowl. This has upset written all over it......well, if UNC is only the 20th best team or so like everybody thinks. I think this UNC is easily a Top 10 team very similar to OKST. You cant convince me that OLST is better than them. I think they have a workmanlike dispatching of VT. 31-17 something like that. If they lose, and the game will end before our game begins.....we will have a lot to play for.

- The ESPN coverage is so bad, so hideous, that Raycom has to split its syndication 2 ways at 12:30 because ESPN didnt want the games. Not only that, but the ACC couldnt even get Duke/UVa televised. Yes, in the year 2015 with 20 or so sports channels, there wasnt enough room for Duke/UVa. Its on ESPN3. Did I mention how bad our ESPN coverage is?

- Pitt/Lou could be a really good game. Very evenly matched teams. Both teams playing for a Tier 2 bowl.

- 3rd week in a row that there is no ACC night game. ACC Saturdays end when the sun goes down.

I've been doing this a few years and this is the worst the league's coverage has been. Its so bad that it seems hard to believe that ESPN would invest in a network for a league that they value very little.
