Friday
noon: Miami @ Pitt - ESPN2
Saturday
noon: Clemson @ South Carolina - ESPN
noon: Georgia @ Georgia Tech - ESPN2
noon: Virginia Tech @ Virginia - ESPNU
noon: Louisville @ Kentucky - SEC Network
12:30: Duke @ Wake Forest - Raycom (thisTV locally)
12:30: Boston College @ Syracuse - Fox Sports South (not televised locally)
3:30: North Carolina @ North Carolina State - ABC/ESPN2 mirror (WTAE locally)
7:30: Florida State @ Florida - ESPN
If there was an ACC TV channel:
noon: ACC Gameday live from Charlottesville
2:00 - Kent State @ Pitt (basketball)
4:15 - Boston College @ Syracuse
8:15 - Duke @ Wake Forest
- Pitt plays its 8th game this season that starts at 1:00 or earlier. There have been 5 noons, 2 12:30s, and a 1:00. Lets not count out the Canes. Their only losses this year were to Clemson, FSU, UNC, and Cincy. Cincy is the only non-elite team that they've lost to.
- Clemson better be on upset alert. Reminds me a bit of a 13-9 situation.
- The ACC has 6 games involving its teams that start at 12:30 or noon on Saturday. That's a little uncalled for. Only 1 game at 3:30, 1 game at 7:30. Just way way way too many noon games all around this year.
- Kentucky goes for bowl eligibility against Louisville. Would be nice to see the Cards win.
- The ACC was 4-0 last year during ACC/SEC Saturday. I doubt we do that again.
- VT also goes for bowl eligibility against UVa. No way Beamer can go out like that, right? Both teams will have new coaches next season.
- UNC needs to win their last 2 to have an outside shot at the playoff. It wont be easy in Raleigh.
- FSU probably goes to a NY6 bowl if they win in Gainesville.
- WTAE is actually doing an ACC game at 3:30 (UNC) but that's because the other choice was USC/UCLA.
