8:00: NC State @ Virginia Tech
Saturday
noon: Duke @ Army - CBSSN
12:30: Virginia @ Pitt - Raycom (WTAE locally)
3:00: Wake Forest @ Boston College - Fox Sports South (Root Sports locally)
3:30: Georgia Tech @ Clemson - ABC/ESPN2 mirror
3:30: Syracuse @ South Florida - CBSSN
8:00: Miami @ Florida State - ABC
If there was an ACC TV channel
noon: ACC Gameday live from Tallahassee
1:00: Wake @ BC
5:00: UVa @ Pitt
- For only the 2nd time this season, WTAE is going to show the 12:30 Raycom game. All others have been relegated to thisTV. This time, OU/Texas gets relegated.
- Very interested to see what game ESPN gives WTAE at 3:30, the Big Ten West matchup of Wisky/Nebraska or the ACC matchup of GT/Clemson. Neither quasi-local BT school (PSU, OSU) play Wisky or Neb this season but Pitt plays GT next week and Clemson is a playoff contender. Unfortunately, though, I'm sure ESPN still views Pittsburgh as a Big Ten market and WTAE is given the Wisky/Neb game.
- When I saw Syracuse was playing USF, I didn't immediately realize it was a former Big East game at first, then I realized how lucky we are for getting out of a league that had a directional Florida commuter school, no offense.
- The ACC so desperately needs Miami/FSU to be must-see TV again. Miami better get this next coaching hire right. How about Greg Schiano? Former Cane DC when they won NC's and recruits FL extremely well. The downside is he is a disciplinarian like Golden which hasn't gone well. I kinda think you need some guy down there like Butch Davis or Pete Carroll from his USC days. Let those guys do whatever they want. WHen you get put on probation, 10 years later, who cares.
- Wow. VT and GT have very tough cross-over games to avoid going 2-4. 2-4? Could that really happen? I dont know whether to root for GT or not? Thoughts? They'll probably lose to Clemson, be 2-4 and be in total desperation mode to beat us to have any real chance at a bowl game. No way, GT can start 2-5 could they?
