We knew we played a very good Pitt team last month, whether the pundits and pollsters knew it or not. No, it's not Iowa's doing that put Pitt in the Top 25. But, a 7-0 Iowa record doesn't hurt for strength of scheduling, either. You guys almost beat us. Wish it was an annual game.

Iowa helped us a lot, but obviously the number one reason Pitt is here isbecause the team won games that it would have lost previously

It's a shame the Iowa-Pitt series is done because it was a great gauge for both teams to find out how well they were going to do.
