Been a Dixon fan forever, but Dixon's recruiting has put Pitt in a permanent state of being decent, and that's it. You either have to recruit a guy or two with elite offensive skills, or recruit a lot of guys who are tough, know how to play D, and enjoy playing D. Dixon has NEVER once done the former, and while he used to do the latter, sadly, he doesn't do that anymore. Generally, Pitt's players are better offensively than they used to be, but their lack of D outweighs the small boast in offensive skills.
