Pitt could win this game 100 to 0, and there would be no momentum going into next year. Just like the 15 extra practices that are supposedly so important. That hasn’t helped us for the last 40 years, either.

I guess I disagree. EMU is not very good at all. Not only do I think we’ll win, I’m willing to bet we win by double digits. And that might give our young guys confidence heading into the season opener.

I don’t know why anyone would bet on low tier bowl games. Lots of mixed feelings by players, long time for opposing team to prepare, and especially in our case, our second half offense.
No game for us is anything of a sure thing. Narduzzi more than the players needs this win.

I hope they carry HCPN off the field on their shoulders if they win, it will set the tone for momentum into the off season, plus, those 15 extra practices are greatly needed, also I hope they stay in Detroit for a few days after the game and visit all the historical sites for a team building experience, maybe even get Heather to spring for extra sandwiches on the plane ride home.

Sad that the state of this program after 5 years of a head coaching regime is such that there’s even a discussion about whether or not Pitt will beat one of the worst teams in the MAC.
