Atlanta United has finally moved into the Falcons' new stadium and their atmosphere has been electric. 45K in a 70K seat football stadium. Sound familiar. They do an unbelievable job of downsizing. Looks absolutely fantastic.

Pitt needs to understand that it must create a 45K seat stadium at Heinz Field. Making 70K available for every game is absurd.

Yea but you dont need a dome to put an awesome looking "curtain" over the upper deck. Just hang it from the roof of the upper deck (which Heinz has) and push a remote.

Agree they need to do exactly that make Heinz fill the lower bowl and do away with the upper deck. My season tickets are in Section 524 row N and we were the last row to have anyone in them and even then there was hardly anyone around us. Despite a few teams that come to town no way we should make those seats even available. If they continue this madness why don''t they offer tickets to all the HS football programs in a 50-100 mile radius to bring HS players and their families for a donation of whatever amount and at least get people in the seats. They would at least make some sales from concessions and maybe sell a few t-shirts or whatever but get some people in the seats. I'd rather have some HS kids come to the games and see they may be able to make an impact early but what can it hurt to offer tickets to the area programs?

Don't give our defense that much credit. It was 49-14......and we could actually offer those seats behind tbe the curtain at a premium for fans who can't bare to watch anymore.

There are far more important things to worry about than what the people in the stadium look like. Time to focus on the product on the field and recruiting. Otherwise, it really will not matter. Hail to Pitt!
