A rumor started that there was a clown at Old Main on Penn State's campus last night. So what, no big deal. Yet, thousands of PSU students went racing down the main street and across campus to find it.
Wow. I don't get it. Maybe someone heard that they were firing Paterno all over again.

This is what happens when you are out in the middle of nowhere. You end up going to look for clowns in the woods at night, shooting a bow and arrow through your dorm room wall, etc.

Not defending them in anyway, but there has been a rash of "clown" related death threats in Eastern PA/NJ. A 13 yr old in Philly is under investigation for making threats in the most recent event.

I'm surprised that ^^^this^^^ hasn't made the rounds more than it has.

It's in line with similar comments like, "Pitt's researchers labored vigorously to cure polio, and Penn State's researchers labored vigorously to perfect 'Peachy Paterno' ice cream."
