What a great game coached

It was gonna be very difficult to avoid being stuffed on 4th and inches. Pitt was not getting much more that 3 yards running the ball when Iowa's D had to defend pass and run. If you need to place blame, the first interception was a poor call and Junior highish in execution.

Agree... I might have went for it too on fourth down, but our D was playing awesome and Narduzzi does pride himself on Defense... I dont mind too much, especially since we were playing Hall, a true freshman to get the inch... would have been tough. But the rest of the game... A grade from the coaching standpoint.

One thing I was thinking about several times during and after the game last night was "I sure hope we don't play you guys again the next couple years"

That was a dog fight and I'd prefer to play a less physical P5 team before jumping into B10 play.

You guys are going to be solid if he sticks around. Of course, if I am Iowa, I come after Narduzzi after Ferentz retires in 3 or 4 years

Well, that is fine. I think we have the AD in place that keeps a good coach here. And once we start kicking tail and taking names, the donors suddenly show up as well.

I agree I think we will pony up the cash when that time comes. Also narduzzi is an hour from his home town... I think he stays put.

Now we shall see how he bounces back from a tough loss.

I think Pitt teams in the past would have a let down now and go on a losing streak, especially with this tough game coming up. Will be great to see how we come back and get a W on the road against a tough competitor.
