Today got me thinking of how exciting a time it is to be a Pitt fan.
I have been a fan since I was a little kid in the mid-1990’s and I cannot remember ever being this excited about a Pitt team going into the offseason/next season.
Hopefully Pitt can beat MSU, we can ride high out of Atlanta and prepare for a very exciting offseason that returns/added a ton of experienced talent from a potentially 12-2 ACC Championship team.
Pitt will enter the 2023 recruiting cycle with tremendous momentum and some really good talent in Western PA. Hopefully they can parlay all the success into a really strong class.
Spring ball will have plenty to be excited about. A new offensive install, QB battle, some young players we have been excited about (Kamara, DeShields, Barden, Bradley, Etc.) getting their chance to become “the guys” at their respective spots.
On top of all that, we will be counting down to kickoff 2022 at home vs WVU while unveiling the ACC Championship banner in front of them.
2021 was amazing and 2022 has a lot to look forward to for Pitt!! Let’s enjoy this, because I can’t remember a time I’ve been this excited about a team, top to bottom, in my lifetime as a Pitt fan.
