I was looking at our schedule (TV wise) and we definitely aren't in the Big East anymore. The ACC seems to have much fewer basketball games on the ESPN family than other conferences.

Check the app WatchESPN they've televised almost every PITT game so far . You can watch on a smart tv , computer or tablet . Replays are also available . Need to have espn on your tv package .

Verizon is terrible after initial 2 years. Charges for boxes is too high also. Called to complain about the bill, she said oh, your promotion ended let me get you another one.....30 min goes by...the next promotion is $5 cheaper than my non promotion cost. I said you're nuts and i'll be switching to Comcast...making that call to them next week.

I think that you will not be pleasantly surprised with Comcast prices. But switching every 2 yrs to a competitor's promotion is helpful. Politicians in my area have make exclusive deals with Comcast, locking out other providers.

Something else, the last two nights on the 6pm broadcast Andrew Stockey has not mentioned Pitt basketball. I suspected but was not sure that the game would be broadcast there Saturday. One would think that a win over the #11 team in the country would warrant at least one sentence on a sports telecast ending with the phrase "and you can catch Pitt basketball right here on wtae at noon Saturday as the Panthers travel to Syracuse"

That's one of the reasons I don't watch WTAE any longer. They rarely cover Pitt. And when they do, it's for a few seconds. But if pissU sneezes, they cover that and milk dud is on TV and being interviewed. That and because WTAE is way too dramatic with their news coverage.
