What happened to SMF's LOCK OF THE YEAR?

I really underestimated VT. They started 2-7. How? Besides Duke, only Wake and UNC are as talented as they are and you could argue they have more talent than those 2. They're actually 4th in the ACC in NET and still have a decent shot to be the 4th and last team from the ACC to get in. I think they're the best team we played this year.
They shoot 42% from 3 as a team in the ACC. As a team. That's insane. And they have an elite college big guy. Its baffling this team was 2-7 in a garbage league. So, I will own up to a terrible pick. Still, a truly awful display of basketball by Pitt. The 1st Half offense was one of the all-time worst and Hugley vs the double is almost as if he isnt being coached. It should be a major advantage for Pitt that they're guarding Hugley with 2 players. Why isnt anyone diving to the goal when he gets it? They have 3 guys guarding the other 4.

Well what's even more questionable is you just played them 48 hours ago, how were y'all not prepared for this or even see this coming? Thats directly on the staff.

Which is another reason I called it a lock. They outscored them by 24 points during a 15 minute stretch in the 2nd Half on Saturday. That showed me they could at least be competitive. Boy, was I wrong, it looked like Dads vs Kids for 3 halves.
Cant wait for you to congratulate me when 80% of early signees whose school didn't change coaches, enroll. Saying the early signing period doesn't matter is maybe your all time worst.

Redshirt Freshman. I don't care if he's taking sophomore level classes. He is as good as you can be for a freshman big (besides the 1 and dones). Its hard playing vs 2 people

About Hugley? Nope. I think he is extremely skilled for a freshman and has a ton of potential. Very very few young bigs are as skilled as he is with the body he has. He is going to be big time. I don't get hung up on a young 5 having bad games playing vs 2 people. He does need to learn how to pass out of it though. I blame Capel more for that though. We should have run our offense through the double. Entry to Hugley, double comes, someone from foul line dives to the goal. Layup drill.
