Questions re: On3 integration

From what I’ve read, we won’t need to re-register, so what will be different and what will stay the same?

Only thing I can find about it so far today… if you click on the Pitt Sports News banner at the top, it’s already redirecting to On3. Has it already happened?

It looks like this board might get wiped clean and we may need to re-register.

I tried logging in via my phone just now and it didn't recognize my credentials and showed this board as being blank.

I tried the “forgot my password” setting and tried sending an email to the address I have associated with this account- still haven’t gotten anything from On3. I’ll see if it works again on July 1, but thinking I may need to re-register.

I was told that On3 archived everything and would migrate the posts/threads over, but there may be a lag in that happening. I know it’s already happened for the Main Board (National board).

So if you go to “create account” on the On3 website and enter the same username, password, and email address as you do here, your account gets synced up.

However, I don’t appear to have access to post/comment (yet).

No problem with phone. Nothing reset there.

According to this post by the UNC Rivals page, it looks like non-paying members won’t be able to post on the On3 message boards? 247Sports + PantherLair may be the only option for posters not willing to pay for a subscription moving forward. @Pub_PaulZeise may you confirm this?

Heads up — Rivals message boards are shutting down around July 1st.

Rivals is being fully absorbed by On3, and that includes all message boards. Posting on Rivals will no longer be possible after that date. Everything is moving to the On3 platform.

Here’s what’s happening:

Rivals boards will become read-only archives (for those with access).

• If you want to keep posting, you’ll need to do it on the On3 boards.
• On3 uses the same forum backend, so the setup should feel familiar.
• There’s an optional $60/year bundle that gives access to both Rivals archive and On3 boards.
• *****ITS NOT A BUNDLE, ITS THE $12/Month flat fee
• Without the bundle, you may still be able to read old Rivals threads, but not post.
• Do you need a subscription?
  On3’s message boards are subscription-based, not free .
  • However, Rivals subscribers will get read‑only forum access under the bundle.
  • In markets where both sites have strong fan communities, there’s an optional $60/year bundle that gives you posting access across both On3 and Rivals boards

Maybe try clearing your cache and logging in again? Also, the On3 owner said the message board migration will occur through the end of the week, so it may take a few days.
