Like in terms of results. If we live in an era and watch this particular sport where the only national champions tend to be the Alabama's of the world, what do you want to get out of Pitt football beyond "a way to spend a Thursday night"?
I have no problem with any answer, but explain your thinking.

For me, it's not about 8 wins or 10 wins or 12 wins or whatever. I would like to see Pitt play in some ACC championship games. Hell, even one in the near future would be memorable. Even if we lost that game, it'd be a fun trip from a fan standpoint to go see them play a meaningful game for a conference title on a neutral site -- and it'd probably be a better opponent than whoever we'd normally see in a bowl.
Other than that, beat Penn State and WVU and Notre Dame whenever we play them. My expectations aren't that high but I also don't think they're whats holding Pitt "back" as much as we like to anamorphize our thoughts into some sort of monster.
