Barry "Slice" Rohrssen
Last thing I found coaching wise was Assoc HC at St John’s in 2016.
Last thing outside of MBB was a bit part as a referee in the movie Uncle Drew (2018).
My only personal interaction with Slice was in Fitzgerald field house after a huge win (I forget the opponent). I was coming down the steps to floor level in what I remember were spiral stairs. As I hit the track Barry was in prime position to take a charge from me. But we both stopped and he said (in his huge NY accent) “How you doin!!” It’s crazy that the coaches had to walk right through the crowd and how the TV announcers used the same bathroom as the fans.
Anyone know more about Barry or do you have another suggestion about someone that vanished?
