As usual we've had a lot of upsets.
I can' think of any "blockbuster" at this point.

Notre Dame falling apart is the biggest I can think of?

1)James Connor coming back from cancer to break the ACC TD record

2)Notre Dame and its horrible season

3)Texas and its horrible season including losing to Kansas for the first time since the 30's

4)Pitt beating 2 top 10 teams this season with possibly the worst pass defense they have EVER had

5)Penn State and its remarkable turnaround after losing to Pitt and getting thumped by Michigan

6)James Franklin being mentioned for National Coach of the Year after being on the hot hot hot seat.

And don't forget the healing has officially begun

Ffrench playing DB...Seriously, I'd go with the ND implosion. And the Jackson kid at 'ville.

What is remarkable about State Penn -- look at who they played...

James Conner is a compelling story that he just keeps adding chapters to...

Hail to Pitt

Connor is compelling but nowhere near the story that Notre Dame collapsing is.

And Oregon falling apart is nowhere near the story either

The big 10 with 3 of the top 5 spots is news but it won't end that way

Texas struggled last year....so sucking this year isn't as shocking as ND

I don't think it's even close.....top 5 team penciled in for a final 4 spot isn't even going bowling.

I see no reason to keep kelly....but it seems they are .

The Big 12 circle jerk prostate massage with 15 so called expansion candidates

The Big 10 with 4 teams in the top 10. Whether you think PSU belongs in the top 10 is another story but it is what it is.

The coaching changes that are going to happen.

Conner....tremendous story for football fans and for anybody who is looking for all that is good in the world. I hope he gets on the heisman ballot and they send him to NYC

PITT being accused of cheating by a defeated head coach in a post game press conference because PITT's defense was communicating pre-snap defensive line alignment adjustments by clapping. What made this even a bigger story was that the defeated head coach had been told by the game officials on the field that the defense is permitted to communicate signals by clapping and that it was legal, which means this defeated head coach was either ignorant of the rules or he was putting up a smoke screen so that the press would not focus on how poorly he prepared his team for this sold out "non-rivalry" football game.

Fired coaches with les miles leading the early list (strong, Kelly, fraud??? to follow)

Pitt announcing at halftime of the Syracuse game that they will be breaking ground for an on campus stadium right after the game, and inviting everyone to stop on their way home. Then all 35k at the Syracuse game descend on Oakland and we sit in traffic till Sunday morning.

1) James Conner
2) Lamar Jackson
3) Michigan sucking this bad
4) Notre Dame sucking this bad
5) Les Miles fired before season end
6) How overrated the SEC is this season

And what made it even bigger yet... he asked an officiating crew after the game who told him it was legal. So what does he say in his press conference? He says no I asked and they told me it definitely wasn't legal. That guy is such a clown, you seriously can't even make that up.

Story for the year, James Conner is hands down #1. Notre Dame has had down years before, PSU has re-risen in the college football world before. There are things sports related much bigger than the game itself, although PSU and ND fans would never be able to grasp that concept.

Many pundits are saying it is the Conner story by a mile. I agree.
