What's with the star rating on TOS?

They used to rate Pitt recruits higher (more stars) than rivals. Now they do the opposite. No recruit with more than 2 stars.

Weird!

Understand, but now it just looks stupid. The ratings over there are so low they don't even make sense. How can a Rivals 4 star with lots of big time offers be only a 2 star over there? I could understand if he were 3 stars. The discrepancy is just too dramatic to be taken seriously. Maybe they just haven't even rated some of these guys?

Which 4 star are you referring to? That is odd for a rating to be that dramatically different especially if the offers warrant a 4 star rating.

I think the stars near each player are messed up. They've had it 8 3*, 1 2* for a while which it still shows in the rating box.

Tiger--I think you are correct they are screwed up technically. The bar graph on the left shoes 8:3 stars and 1:2 star; but--when you look at the player list on the right side you see--

Ffrench = 1 star

The other 8 = 2 stars (including Flowers who Rivals has as a 4 star). I am guessing they really have them all as 3-stars except Ffrench who they probably have as a 2-star.

That makes far more sense.

ESPN is about the only one I pay attention to. It's the most publicized and what the common fan looks at.. Heck, they dedicate a 3 hour special signing day show with all the rankings. Other site rankings aren't mentioned much after ESPN goes viral.
