Where did the Vader post go?

This is just silly stuff. If a kid commits, you'll hear it and see it soon enough in the papers and on the news. Paying to get the news a few hours before everyone else gets it is foolish. Get real. We're talking about a bunch of kids and where they're going to school, not something that really matters. If you don't like the censorship and deleting of posts here, start your own message board.

That’s why I quit the pay side , I joined for recruiting info and found out they have no great insight .
You are SO right. The pay board is a nothing burger.

I don’t think they claim to be all that. U get some good articles and their are some people on the site that have some inside info. More will come as Capel stays here longer. Their some changes they made. I think their was more info before all the social media now it is out there pretty much. It’s 120 bucks a year of course they make it hard to quit I think u have to call them but they try very hard putting articles up that people would like.

I guess if I thought it was worth paying I’d still be there . I’m glad you enjoy it .

There is no real inside information that any of us couldn't get if we really wanted to get it. The point is that no one knows anything other than the kid and maybe his parents. And even they don't know most of the time.

His (or her) posts were helpful. What’s annoying is making it a “brand” before it was a “brand” and it will likely never be a “brand”

If he was like “hey this is Bawbby from Blawnox and I have some recuiting opinions” it would have been more endearing.

But the info was good (or at least outlines the landscape), so I I hope it keeps coming

Vader was useful to many of us for no other reason than he summarized in one spot most of the players Pitt seems to be trying to recruit. Most of us are otherwise limited to Rivals or 24/7 which have incomplete and out of date lists of such players. Most of us don't want to be searching the net and social media for the names of players Pitt is attempting to currently recruit. It is irrelevant whether he is attributing too high a liklihood of Pitt landing these guys (i.e., being a cheerleader). At least we were given something close to the current list. That alone is valuable info to many of us.

Lol I saw an old post of yours using a star war analogy. And it made me think.
I honestly don't care. I just think it's funny how worked up people get over this whole thing.
I enjoyed his posts , I just don’t get why it worked up so much hate from certain posters .

DC Area Panther summarized well why many of us like Vader's posts. The issue in this thread is why whole threads have been removed.

I used to be a member of the pay board, but apart from several posters I used to read with interest, I found the pay board and the free board both to be of comparable value. I left the pay board during Stallings' time, and I have continued to follow the team on this board, which remains quite informative.

I have seen individual posts removed from threads, so I know the monitors are capable of doing that. Apart from some threads initiated by Phil, or some partisan political discussions, I don't recall ever seeing whole threads removed. Apart from the removed Vader's thread, the threads started up on the potential new commit were also removed. I have ignored a few posters, but from what I read, I didn't see anything remotely deserving attention, not even to say action, from the board monitors.

It's a matter of concern that the board monitors are removing whole threads, and not objectionable individual posts, based on content related to Pitt basketball.

This is exactly "it". Vaded provides a nice service, got no problems with him hamming it up in the process.

I think there is some misinformation going on regarding deleted threads. All of Vader’s posts are still active and accessible. The deleted posts and threads were surrounding X2win (aka Vader). I have to admit, some of these threads were the most comical and entertaining I have read in years. But, when you mock the guys who run this site and badmouth the pay side, there is an obvious agenda. H2P

Thanx for the clarification.
