DC Area Panther summarized well why many of us like Vader's posts. The issue in this thread is why whole threads have been removed.
I used to be a member of the pay board, but apart from several posters I used to read with interest, I found the pay board and the free board both to be of comparable value. I left the pay board during Stallings' time, and I have continued to follow the team on this board, which remains quite informative.
I have seen individual posts removed from threads, so I know the monitors are capable of doing that. Apart from some threads initiated by Phil, or some partisan political discussions, I don't recall ever seeing whole threads removed. Apart from the removed Vader's thread, the threads started up on the potential new commit were also removed. I have ignored a few posters, but from what I read, I didn't see anything remotely deserving attention, not even to say action, from the board monitors.
It's a matter of concern that the board monitors are removing whole threads, and not objectionable individual posts, based on content related to Pitt basketball.
