Who was Pitt's starting QB when you started following Pitt football?

he was not good, and there were two OL who couldn't bench press 225 once, on scholarship, and got starts... a bunch of walk-on DB's and FB's, Lmao, a starting DB who I believe never played ball before, a couple of Crips (seriously), two intramural dudes who made the two-deep, a Coach banging coeds & getting one pregnant, a walk-on RB dealing dope supplied by the disciples of Haile Selassie... God, those were beautiful times...

Trocano-Marino at a really young age then really started following when Jelic, Congemi were QB's. H2P!

It looks like the Pitt QB at the first game I was ever at was Dave Havern. I really don't remember that (it was, after all, 53 years ago and I was 7).

The first Pitt QB that I actually remember is Bill Daniels.

Havern….First game I payed attention to was 36-35 win over WVU.
Heard the story of the comeback at a grad party, years later.
