Reading both boards, JRob is flailed regularly as is Young and Artis and whomever tries to play the 5.
But, I'd argue that the biggest deficiency in the lineup is the total lack of anything coming from the 2 guard! If we had a 2 who could score, make a high percentage of shots from 3, and play some sound defense, a lot of out problems would be solved, at least on offense.
Sometimes it seems like we're playing 4 on 5 because our 2 is virtually invisible.
Someone who could make opposing defenses come out and guard an outside threat would open up the middle more for the 3 and 4, and also give JRob a potent option to dish off penetration.
A player like Rowan would look great in this lineup. Thought that is what Smith was supposed to be? He rarely shoots the ball at all, which is pretty hard to imagine for a guy who came here with a scorer's reputation!
