He says all the right things, but I’m in Missouri right now. The Show Me State.
Capel's a good guy and I would love to see him succeed and not just because Im a Pitt fan. He seems like one of the good guys in this business. I appreciate what he's said but geez, the guy has to start winning and quick. It doesn't look good.
Understood. But I can only say, I can think of no better way to handle this , he didn't throw the players under the bus and got the focus on to his remaining players.
And even with all the hysteria in the last week I think this is darn near universal with Pitt fans. Or as close as you can get.
I agree, and really hope he turns
this around. I've liked him from
the beginning of his time here at
Pitt.
With that said, yes..."it doesn't
look good." If what's left of the
team shows effort and plays
well, that would be a good sign.
Also, he now has at least three
scholarships for next year, maybe
more depending on Hugley and
Drumgoole. Other coaches
(Young at VT) are able to land
viable transfers....Can Capel?
He makes over $70,000 a week...what else would he say...gotta protect that lifestyle...I think it’s all BS but what do I know.
