Why this game is the perfect analogy for a normal Pitt season

Much like most seasons, this game was a lot of up-and-down runs that at times made us think we suck and at other times made us think we were going to roll along to success. In the end of regulation, we were even (analogous to being 6-6).

Much like Pitt has become famous for with late-season take downs of top-ranked teams, we made an unbelievable play at the final minute in order to put us in a position to make it a successful game (like we have done late in seasons numerous times to get us to .500, just over .500, or into a bowl game).

And in the extra time (like our bowl games), we inexplicably fell on our faces in a way that made no sense.

Our offense is an absolute struggle. We do well to get points, but we have to work so damn hard for it.
