I think they all need to play and play well. I don't see any of them as 1st or 2nd round draft picks, and maybe not even 3rds as of right now. NFL programs don't take kindly to late round picks making business decisions.
I agree with you, but there is no difference if you think about it, the chance of injury and loss of future NFL income is more of a risk in a 2 game playoff with many of the highest projected players. Why risk it? Just like SMF says, Clemsons QB is a sure #1 pick now, so why play your junior year and risk becoming like Tua? Just quit the team and start working out for the 2021 NFL Combine TODAY. I don't agree with any of it, but that's where we're headed
How could a NFL team take a player who bails on his team in a championship race? That is a character flaw if there ever was one.
Unless Trevor Lawrence has a stinker in the semi-final he can sit out next year and would still be the #1 pick. It's not a character flaw at all if someone like Trevor Lawerence sits out a bowl game or season, it's being smart! How could a NFL team take a player who bails on his team in a championship race? Guys working for Scout spend a good deal if time delivering pizza. just sayinWhile it is easy and fashionable to bash the PG, i thought that article was really interesting. BTW i dont think he was an NFL scout, i think he worked for Scout, Inc.
I do agree with the guy's overall premise. Jones, Twyman and Ford all have NFL futures. All three of them would probably get drafted but another good year for each of them would really benefit each player.
