Will Heather emerge tomorrow

She should say we have targeted a certain individual currently residing in New Rochelle, NY

Agreed - I am so tired of the excuses.
Don’t you realize only Pitt has had to deal with Covid, no other team has.

Per JC his Brick by Brick principles “we make no excuses”. Maybe he should change that to “we have every excuse one can imagine”.

But hey at least he is taking care of his brother and friends $, God forbid he actually make a change and hire some real assistant coaches.

LOL! How did I know something like this would happen? Technically, if Capel didn't show up for the game and the team didn't know it until 15 minutes before the bus left for the airport, for me that is grounds for immediate dismissal for cause. But he'll have his excuses, as usual. What a tool. He doesn't deserve our support or the money he is getting paid to be doing such a piss poor coaching job.

This program is being taken down into the depths of the sewer by Capel. He can't recruit, he can't coach, and he isn't capable of doing even the simplest duties of his job, like showing up to coach his team. But since he can't do that, this is expected. It's time now for action by the AD.

Forfeit? We played the game, I thought. We played poorly and we lost. Even if we "forfeit", it's still a loss to me.
Just a little joke.

sooooo many excuses. I thought forfeit was next in the progression.

I finally got it. Just in a bad mood, I guess. But a forfeit would apparently have been better than the debacle we had tonight. I'm sick and tired of excuses from both Capel and Lyke.

Yep but he is laughing all the way to bank

So now they're using the COVID crap as an excuse. Predictable. COVID is here for all teams, not just Pitt. It's no excuse for the poor on court performance.

Some people get support and excuses made for them ( by the administration, media and some fans) even after massive failure, others get attacked before they even start.

I realize Covid can be a serious problem. People have gotten really sick and died.

Thankfully (as far as I am aware) no one associated with this Pitt team has been impacted that way.

It is long past time (unless something significantly changes) to keep the Covid excuse on the shelf. It has already been employed far too much.

That's true. When it happens, COVID is nothing to mess around with or take lightly. I had it for a month with a fever for 14 days straight. But you're right....this excuse has been overused. I'm sorry that Capel had a serious bout of COVID back in December, 2020 (over a year ago), but it's time to quit making COVID an excuse to not be doing his job. I know Pitt has certain restrictions and protocols in place for COVID. But frankly, they are outdated and unrealistic. It's time to move on.

We make no excuses, but here is our litany of excuses.

Besides the fact that you're fighting a one person battle that you won't win. is there a reason you're having a conversation with yourself and bringing up something from two years ago?

Your boy Stallings sucked. Capel sucks. Both are true. Neither will be the coach at Pitt next year. Has Capel fallen asleep at a recruit's game yet?

Again. Do you have a substantive reply that explains why you’re having a conversation with yourself about something irrelevant?
His position on Capel remaining employed is certainly understandable but repeating
the same stuff over and over is insufferable. Best to just ignore it. It’s been mentioned time and again but he’ll never stop. Even though he’s a 70 year old man with this it’s like he’s a toddler tantruming (if that’s even a word).

And his revenge/crusade tour for Stallings is…uhhh…something.

It’s as if he thinks he has some influence and saying it over and over is gonna have some kind of impact. It’s unbelievable.
