I was a little surprised when I saw his name in the email Pitt sent out.I haven't had a chance to go through all the threads yet so someone else may have mentioned this, but Jeffress is expected to take part in the senior day ceremony on Saturday night. So when people are trying to decide who is going to be here next year, he probably won't.
I think he can be a starter at the mid-major level.
Neither could Santos.No way.
I believe Wayne DiBartolo was playing his final season at RB while enrolled in the Dental School - but I could be wrong. Will could get an extra major or enroll in Grad School for a final season of Hoops. This is a good move by Will. If I were him, I'd look for a school based on the quality of the graduate program/medical school like real students actually do. It would be basically impossible to play college basketball while attending medical school but could he start a class or 2 while playing? Dont know that answer. I think he can be a starter at the mid-major level.

I smell grad transfer to a school with a top notch BA program.I haven't had a chance to go through all the threads yet so someone else may have mentioned this, but Jeffress is expected to take part in the senior day ceremony on Saturday night. Maybe Bob Schilken too, in that same era, don't remember if he ever redshirted or not???I believe Wayne DiBartolo was playing his final season at RB while enrolled in the Dental School - but I could be wrong. Will could get an extra major or enroll in Grad School for a final season of Hoops.
I went to dental school and there were several former college athletes while I was there , but I couldn’t imagine any first yr dental student having the time to play any D1 sport . In grad school you could lighten your load during your season , they’re never going to alter the curriculum for one student .I believe Wayne DiBartolo was playing his final season at RB while enrolled in the Dental School - but I could be wrong. You can’t shoot or handle the ball .. you’re not starting at any level.Heading to Louisiana Tech in CUSA. Decent mid-major. I think he can potentially start at that level

Unless perhaps he’s playing center….I mean I don’t know that I have ever seen a div 1 player so completely uncomfortable with the ball in his hands….just no offensive moves or even instincts. Most kids develop moves on the playground playing one on one. He literally looked like he never played a game of one on one hoops. Not even D3?

As long as he’s not expected to score….can he even put the ball on the floor…seriously. To be honest, he looked more uncomfortable offensively this year than 2 years ago.So you dont think he can start at the 3 for W&J over some dude who averaged 16 PPG at Trinity?

Good for Will. Spending his gap year playing one last year of hoops before starting his journey toward med school. Best of luck to a great young man.He will average 7 PPG at La Tech. He's not a D3 level player. Get real.
