He won't lie about it: Damon Wilson was worried when the NCAA began looking into whether he should be eligible this season as a freshman at Pitt.
Players from his high school, Our Savior New American, have had plenty of clearinghouse issues before, and he didn't want to be the latest sidelined for his first year of college basketball.
"It was a lot on me, because it all happened at the end of my senior year," he said Friday at Pitt's Media Day. "I didn't know it was going to happen. But I stopped stressing as the summer went on and I knew that it was going to play out, and it did."
