Now is the time to allow adults to enjoy an expensive glass of Beer or Wine at Heinz and the Pete for Panther games. I've had 4 Club seats and have 6 prime non clubs for 25 years. It does hurt attendance not serving to non club sections as I have offered my 50 yd line non club seats to adult couples, friends,and business clients to good non prime ( except notre dame, Fla. St., etc.) and were turned down because they couldn't have a adult beverage. They want to sit with me cause Im in Club. I don't always have a drink but the option is important to the experience. . The University of Texas who is one of the best funded Athletic Departments in college sports saw no effect serving at basketball games and now will offer wine and beer at football games . The University of Cincinnati has served for years with increased revenue and fan experience the only result. (WVU- only positive) Our new Pitt leadership is looking hard at this. It would impact ticket sales and revenue positively with folks who are considering pulling the trigger. Lets get ahead of this now and continue the momentum. Oh I forgot the Pitt - Duquense City game serves without effect. Its going to happen nationally so lets do it now while the momentum is building to grow attendance.
