Women’s Game. Vs George Mason

Just so anyone who is interested knows, like last year ALL the games that are not on either the ACC Network or syndicated to the RSNs are available on ACCNX. It is possible to watch every woman's game at home, if you so choose.

I will watch when other duties allow. MI’d-day games are difficult. Hope they will be more worth watching than they were last year. Last season was discouraging and disappointing except for the late Norte Dame win. But even that was vs an uncharacteristically weak Norte Dame team.

So, you are saying that I am able to watch Pitt sports on TV? Like every game?

Has to be some sort of catch here.. seems too good to be true.

Women won 72-57. Were up 63-31 end 3rd quarter and let up playing mostly subs in the 4th quarter.

Ezeja did not play. Jayla Everett was the star.
Anyone know what is up with Ezeja?

Seemed to have a lot of solid international experience. Didn't play last season. Not even referenced much when their is talk/reporting about this season.

Can she just be not that good?

Coach said Cynthia injured her knee and was out for a while. She’s supposed to be working her way back. I presume they are being cautious with her.

Coach did say the other day that Cynthia is an excellent rebounder — which my imply that her scoring needs some work...

Go Pitt.

Thanks - Appreciate this greatly - I had high hopes for this girl

I also want to add, I didn't watch the game but one thing that is concerning is that Pitt fouled. A lot. Pitt was called for 33 fouls altogether. That is waaaaaaaay too many. Both Igbokwe and Hayford fouled out. Brown, Green, Exanor and Judkins all ended the game with four. I think the plan all along was to play a lot of players, especially after they got out to such a big lead, but even if they weren't playing on playing a lot of players they would have had to based on all the fouls.

Good point about the fouls, but the refs were ridiculous. Sometimes
you just have to let em play. They called everything under the sun. I
don't usually comment on refs, but I felt these two didn't know basketball,
and had no feel for the game. We pressed a lot, full court, double teams
etc.

Watching the game I saw improvement. Ibokwe is better, but not an
overpowering force yet. In time I feel she will be. Everett and Harris
are our two best, and give us a real presence in the backcourt. Everett,
can shoot, has a handle and gets the ball inside with some great passing.
A few of those passes were too much for our inside players. They'll
get used to her, and they'll turn into assists.
I was impressed with Hayford's improvement. She had a few turnovers
and needs to slow down and let the game come to her. She actually
played pg for extended minutes and did well. Brown is strong physically,
and her game inside looks good overall.
Team is clearly better as we expected. Depth, some experience, and more
talent.
The frosh has talent and a few will break through soon enough.

Whats funny is the announcers said the exact same thing. Said that is something white will pull out of this game to work on.
