Final was 81-39. Pitt had 28 turnovers by the middle of the 3rd quarter and ended with 35 turnovers. Louisville only had 15 turnovers for the game. Pitt's extra 20 turnovers made it a blow-out for Louisville.I was going to watch the replay after the Pens game.you save me the pain.

This is why I was concerned about hiring someone with no head coaching experience at any level. He needed to have gotten his first job at a mid major.I watched it, and again
it was the same ole
story.....outta control
on offense. Now, L'ville
is damn good, but that's
no excuse for the 35 TO's.
Even the announcer said
we were out of control. A
perfect example was Amber
Brown, who is usually
somewhat in control, going
non stop the length of
the floor and barreling into
L'ville players for an offensive
charge. Harris had what I
thought was her worst
game as a panther, 9 TO's.
I'm not usually in the
"Capel can't coach chorus"
but coach White clearly
has installed a run at all
cost, helter skelter style
of play that just doesn't
work with this group. It's
obvious they do not know
how to settle and run
good sets on Offense. They
were given a lesson on how
to work the ball and get
good open shots by L'Ville
tonight. I see this as a
result of poor coaching.
If there were some clear
improvement. we'd see it
by this time. He's recruited
better players, but as I've
repeatedly said on here,
I don't think he knows
what he's doing. In fact I
feel he's in over his head.
I obviously agree about being totally "out of control" on offense and that being on coaching. Their passing was especially atrocious. No one was coming to meet a pass and they often threw passes that were too long to be accurate. This is why I was concerned about hiring someone with no head coaching experience at any level. He needed to have gotten his first job at a mid major.
Yes, they were playing thein somewhat of a very partial defense, they were playing the #3 Nationally ranked women's team (#2 in ACC) and a team known to be one of the best, if not the best, defensive teams in women's college hoops.
I agree with this. He can’t coach. He is 6-46 in ACC games and is behind SMS’ disastrous pace. They have actually regressed this year against the top of the ACC compared to last season.I watched it, and again

There has to be some incremental improvement in their ACC record. You would have to think at least 6 wins. But I don’t see that at all.
Good suggestions, butAgree with the comments - that performance was embarrassing. Though for years we have gotten embarrassed by Louisville - I remember games where it was a major struggle against them to get the ball over the half-court line.
But having to make some late buckets so that you have more points than turnovers is really bad…
Four players who they seemed to have been counting on to make significant individual improvements - Hayford, Rita, Strother and Harris - have all struggled.
Maybe give Clesca a game at point guard and see what happens.
