Man, Euro’s is a big deal. And those club rivalries and UCL that the ladies teams can piggyback on really are helping the growth of the game over there. If it hasn’t happened yet, our WNT is going to get overtaken. We need to get out of concacaf .

It was exciting soccer, and just top level females. it was equivalent to the excitement of the World Cup with awesome drama each game.

Before getting too excited about it, although Barca hosted two of the three biggest matches on that list, Barca Femini plays their regular season matches at the Barca B pitch which holds 20,000 and they average 10,000 to 17,000. Plus, ticket prices start at 17 Euros whereas for the mens’ team they start at 125 Euros.

Still, it’s much better than it was 3 or 4 years ago. Womens soccer is growing in popularity at a pretty impressive rate.
