I have to assume they made it to Virginia even with all the bad weather? With the Duq.mens team having been stranded after leaving the state of Va.it makes you wonder...

The women played at Boston College on Thursday and then after the game flew directly to Virginia so they could avoid needing to travel in the storm.
You mean someone actually paid attention to the weeklong prediction of a major snow event and planned to stay off the highways on friday evening?
Brilliant! You had a bus load of Duquesne hoopsters. A bus load of kids coming back from Pro Life rally in DC. The women's gymnastics team from Temple trying to get to Pittsburgh. And your typical thousands of semis trying to get to where ever along with thousands of regular travellers, some of whom either didn't get the message or decided to ignore it putting themselves and those around them in peril.
Makes you wonder what some people think are important
Well the Duquesne men did move their game up from Saturday to Friday afternoon to get out of Virginia early. Once they got into PA they actually thought they were in the clear. And they probably would have been, except apparently a couple of trucks were going up the mountain really slowly and then for some reason they stopped and couldn't get going again. That's what screwed things up for everyone else.
