Worst group of Assistants coaches in years

I've been saying , that this is the worst group of assistant coaches Pitt has had in a long time. Since joining the ACC our coaches have not been as good as what Jamie had together the first 7-9 years since taking over for Howland. With all the extra millions Pitt gets a year from the league, seems like they are not putting the funds into the two programs that make money . Without top assistants you can't improve. These players get worse as the year goes on, instead of improving which was the norm the first 8 years or so. There is not a coach on the bench that can recruit a big man let alone coach one.

But it's all about the head coach. The wins were because of the head coach, and the struggles are all about the head coach.

Well, if your looking at a positive. We can only hope this forces Jamie to make some serious changes in the off season. If he does not? It will be his demise

Agreed - either JD is too stubborn to hire a good asst. head coach because he feels he does not need one, guys out there do not want to coach under him, or he is clueless if he thinks this is a good staff.
