Wow after watching some of the Broncos Pats game I have come to the conclusion that

Worst pass protection I have ever seen Brady receive. If the Steelers could have pressured Brady the way the Broncos did, they would have had a shot.Ironically, had Belichek had any confidence in his D and kicked a FG on either of the two possessions before the TD drive, the Patriots would still have won. I don't think Brady, however, has ever had a bad game against the Steelers.
Sounds like O Line was shaky all year long. I think I heard Howie say their line play finally caught up to them. But you're probably right - hasn't come close to taking a beating like that ever. Brady completed less than half of his passes. Wonder how often that's happened.
Brady would have had a field day against the woeful Stiller secondary.
On the other hand, had the Stillers played the Cardinals today that would have been another story. Carson Palmer just threw something like his 43rd interception of the day for a pick six.
The Steelers would have had a chance. However, I don't think the Steelers could have pressured Brady and totally stopped their running game the way the Broncos did today.
Really surprised he didn't kick the field goal. Dumb move. I thought so at the time. Everyone I watched the game with laughed when they didn't get the 4th and 1.
Gostkowski had already missed a FG and extra point, so the chances of him missing another one, especially a chip shot, was a low percentage.
