Apparently, Levy, Detroit Lions linebacker, is not aware of the mindset of the Cult. Check this out:

DeAndre Levy's Proudest Moment In College: Breaking "Dirtbag" Joe Paterno's Leg

Born and raised in Milwaukee, where his mother is an assistant at a medical office and his father works on the line in a steel factory, Levy was a star linebacker at Wisconsin. He was most famous for a 2006 play against Penn State, a sideline tackle that accidentally drove him into coach Joe Paterno, breaking JoePa’s left leg. Ten years later, Levy now calls that incident “my proudest moment in college,” as history has since revealed Happy Valley’s sad secrets. “That dirtbag, man,” says Levy of Paterno, who was recently implicated as being aware of child sexual abuse committed by his assistant Jerry Sandusky as early as 1976. “We’ve gotta stop prioritizing sports over humanity,” says Levy. “Just because somebody can throw a football or coach football, they’re excluded from their wicked acts.”

SHOTS FIRED IN DETROIT!!!!
In other words, it's a Wednesday...

Okay, I'll probably be in the minority, but I'll say that it wasn't a very smart move for him to say this.

He's now saying that "(he's) proud" of doing something that he did - accidentally?

It makes no sense.

WOW, I can't concur with that at all, Joe did stay too long and was credited with some games he did not Coach on the field, but hurting anyone by accident and taking joy later is not one of them. Just me, others can differ knowing how many feel Joe Knew!

If Penn State makes the Big Ten Title Game against Alvarez/Chryst's Wisconsin Team, it won't become Bulletin Material either. Franklin is making sure the Penn State Paterno Era Memory, Legacy, and Scandal is being removed as a distraction to his own success.

None of the Franklin's Players even met or remember Paterno are on the Roster and it is all about Franklin now having Penn State back in the Top Ten again!

However, the Penn State CULTure still has many remnants of revisionists recants that still hate Penn State Trustees, Erickson, Joyner and others that chose Franklin.

Now all of a sudden the Cultists have had Saint JoePa's Blind-Sight Hind-Sight's Revelations as seen by Riots at State College after the Ohio State Blocked Kick close win?

Boy, should Franklin lose to Rutgers, MSU, and the Bowl Game, they will become upset again, but back on Franklin. Or if Franklin leaves and takes PSU Recruits and Moorhead with him?

Agree, "No Upside In Talking Down!"

Still, other Posters have a right to their own opinions, and the controversy was not caused by an Pitt Posters ever, it was all caused at Penn State Scandal of, by, and from Penn Staters, no one else!

Levy has a little Frank Drebin (Leslie Nielsen) in him:

Police Commissioner: Ladies and gentlemen, I would now like to introduce a most special American. Tonight, he is being honored for his 1000th drug dealer killed.

Lt. Frank Drebin: Thank you. But, in all honesty, the last three I backed over with my car. Luckily, they turned out to be drug dealers.

Type I Penn State Did Wrong & Deserves It:
There are some that blame Joe Knew and was part of the scandal and everything Penn State was a fraud, underhanded silence, and even Ref Guman fixed Games with Paterno Silence and pointing fingers at other Coaching and the PSU Fan Base bought into some kind of superior arrogant system noting ever went wrong and people are just jealous they did not go or get into Penn State? This Narrative Scenario is based on Depositions under Oath by the Victims!

Type II: Penn State Deniers It Never Happen:
There are Penn State Cultists that believe the Scandal did not happen, and Paterno was never part of it, and Penn State Trustees and Administration caused its own problems by not defending Paterno & Penn State and nothing ever went wrong or was unproven or was not given a proper Defense and Penn State is the victim of being better than all other CFB Universities and Programs. This Narrative Scenario is built on confusion, myths, slogans and without Honor by PSU Cultists!

Type III: Athletic Integrity Reforms Under Penn State Paterno Era:
Penn State did need Athletic Integrity Reforms and did allow an old, confused and powerful employee to dominate his only beliefs his way has been the right way for 46 years when indeed he should have retired far sooner. Paterno was told about Sandusky in 1970s but did not believe it until sometime in the 1990s and then took action to retire him, but like Ref Guman became part of a silent unsure man on what to do so long it did not take him from his program. Upon Discovery during the Grand Jury Investigation, Testimony, and only cared about 409. Subsequent release of the Grand Jury Presentment one week after 409 ended in his Firing while Dying. As well as, his Admission in Hindsight he should have done more? When is the problem Joe may have heard but Sandusky was lying to anyone telling them he was helping lying misguided youth. At some point in time, Joe did know that Sandusky had to go but when and how was a Penn State Decision and no one will know for sure since of all the confusion in earlier Investigations, Disbelief's, Sandusky Manipulation, Spanier Keeping Sandusky Around, and Joe no longer able to stay healthy to even coach let alone run a Program under Athletic Integrity Rules develops in 1990s but only cared about 409. This Narrative Scenario has been factually validated by the Reforms & Fine$ and over!

The Three Narratives Scenarios above are full of confusion and mistakes made by many during a Timeline from 1971 to 2012 and are still be decided in Criminal Court Cases, Civil Lawsuits Discovery, and Cases decided or settled by Insurance, Penn State, McQueary, and even Sandusky's Appeal still pending.

What has been investigative and decided is the Athletic Integrity Violations that required 116 of 119 Recommendations that led to many 2012 Reforms and validated by Penn State itself, NCAA, Big Ten, DOE & DOJ, PA Legislature, Policie$, Procedure$, Training$, Settlement$, Fee$, and Fine$ costing over $5 Billion that put Penn State University and Athletic into being a Model of Compliance as of 2012.

It is not over, and many more revelations to come by way of Books, movies, and studies, but Penn State Football is back on its feet again free of sanctions except for remaining NCAA 5 year Probation still pending a few years as is usual.

No matter what, there will be flare ups like Wisky Detroit's Levy's Comments, Baylor University Comparisons and future issues when future Sports Scandals come up, and someone will bring up the Penn State Football Scandal will come out again and over again. Even after the Criminal Issues & Civil Lawsuits are over. It will never be over but Penn State Athletic Integrity is in place.

I prefer discussing Football and that will never end either, in the meantime glad seeing Pitt & Penn State being added to some WVU Signature Wins!!!

WHY ARE PEOPLE AFRAID OF THOSE WHO THREATEN YOU? THEY WON'T DO ANYTHING. IT'S THE ONES WHO SAY NOTHING WHO KILL YOU.
