Are you saying you don't want Hamlin and Ford? Is there something going on with them I didn't hear about? I've only heard that they're two pretty good athletes. Any info would be appreciated.

nope, just havent' mastered the language yet. I do want them. Actually want them all, just see Hamlin as the most likely and FOrd hitching his wagon to Hamlin..

O gotcha. And yeah, sucks to say, but you're probably right. But you never know, the way our defense is playing, like I said, kids might really want to come play for Narduzzi.

I know Hudson is kinda a tweener S/LB... but dont forget about him.

I heard he is definitely changing his mind on Pitt... it would be a HUGE get if we can get a kid off state penns doorstep

I agree, this defense and his past success, especially with CBs making the nfl, you'd have to imagine it's a HUGE selling point.. Maddox looks real good, Real good.. Loaded Italian, I hope you are right, Hudson is a tremendous athlete and will be a player at the next level. Would hate to see it in Morgantown or sanduskyville..

Dating back to his time as Michigan State's d-coordinator, Maddox may end up being Narduzzi's best pupil. And that is saying something, the kid is that good. Pure lock down corner.

--When recruits see Avonte Maddox playing so well - and at his size - they have to be impressed.

--Defensive recruits should be attracted to Pitt because we are seeing big plays from every position on the defense. Thought I heard, for example, that our 17 sacks have come from 12 different players.

--On the other hand, offensive recruits have to see an opportunity to step in and contribute early to a unit that is searching for its identity - and more importantly, searching for playmakers...

That's what I've been saying. Narduzzi has a TRACK RECORD of producing really good defenses, and more specifically, really good D-Backs. Any Western PA kid defensive kid (and mainly D-backs) that can't see this need to have their heads examined. He is not saying he will do things that he has no experience doing.

Some kids want to get away for school, and that's fine. But any of these defensive players that want to stay close to home have to be loving what they are seeing....the D-backs are playing much better than last year only 4 games in. The defense is creating turnovers and getting to the QB. I sure hope it continues.

TOOS site has a crystal ball predictor for Hamlin to PITT! This would be great and if he saw the VT game he is most likely salivating.
