My son goes to Shippensburg, he and a couple buddies drove down to Chambersburg for Allderdice vs Reading game...........old school Diamond and One on Lonnie Walker top 25 recruit 2017 class...shut him down, had 4 points, 2 of them on tech foul shots.... it was a 1 point game at half , won by 25 going away.
that was their MO vs Carlisle in game on Saturday.....Carlisle up by 3 at half.....22-0 run to start 2

The NA girls apparently lost tonight on a Naz Robinson play. They hit a three with 1.8 seconds left to take a 42-41 lead over Cumberland Valley and then fouled a girl 80 feet from the basket with 0.8 seconds on the clock. The girl hit both foul shots and NA lost, 43-42.
I'm confused. I've followed the PIAA playoffs for years. The AAAA and AA games were always on a Wednesday-Saturday schedule. Why were they played on Tuesday this year?
Edit: I am seeing now that all the semi final games were played tonight. The PIAA must have adopted this new format since last year. It actually makes some sense.
I also see the Quips will be going up against Roman Catholic of Philly. That's the school that produced the two kids that are going to elevate the Peds to new heights. Go Quips.

Both Jackson's are very impressive. I guess non qualifiers from reports. That is a shame because they are acc level athletes.saw them 3 times and each game they grew on me as the competition got tougher. I guess just is the route I am hearing.
Should be an entertaining weekend watching high school hoops if you have the PCN network. With the Dice in AAAA, Robbie Carmody and Mars in AAA and the Quips in AA. Also in my local area the North Star girls will be in Hershey in A girls.
WBR, they have played all the semifinals on Tuesdays for at least the past four or five years, maybe longer.
wow, you had to bring that up...I had is properly suppressed and buried in the deepest recesses of my brain....The NA deal was even worse in that it was coming off a time out....No one would ever think that CV would even inbound the ball in five feet from the baseline and it they did you would not want a girl within 10 feet of the receiver there.....don't have a rooting interest but it was damn shame...
Maybe Pitt stashes them at a Prep school for a year and then takes them for FB & BB or whichever sport shakes out. Think one of them is already committed to a MAC school however.
Seriously? didn't realize that. My local team used to go deep in the PIAA playoffs often but haven't been relevant for a dozen years now so I don't pay as much attention.
