WTAE selects BYU @ Michigan State instead of VT @ UNC

In all the years I've tracked this, this is the strangest scheduling decision I've ever seen. For the 3:30 ABC/ESPN2 mirror, WTAE chose the BYU/MSU game over a key Coastal clash which Pitt fans will habe great interest in if Pitt wins today as we would need a VT win pretty bad.

I guess that it goes without saying that WTAE views Pittsburgh more as a Big Ten market than an ACC market.

Maybe the choice is a result of the rapidly expanding Mormon population in the Pittsburgh area.

WTAE selected it or ABC mapped it that way? The game is still available on the Deuce so it's not as big of a deal as years ago.

Its mapped that way because WTAE is showing it. If WTAE wanted it, they would get it.
